Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) letter dated September 22, 2025, to David Bilinski and Karen Espersen, co-owners of Universal Ostrich Farms Ltd, in response to the farm’s “Request for Ministerial Reconsideration” to the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-food on September 11, 2025.
Even though this is a Ministerial Request (requires a response from the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-food, Honourable Heath MacDonald), the only response has been from CFIA so far, as of October 31, 2025.
